Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BSAB-2 is an investigational bispecific antibody designed to target two immune checkpoints, VISTA (V-domain Ig suppressor of T cell activation) and PD-L1 (Programmed death-ligand 1). By simultaneously blocking these negative immune checkpoints, BSAB-2 aims to enhance tumor inhibitory activity and overcome drug resistance observed with existing mono- and combination immune checkpoint blockade therapies. It has shown enhanced tumor inhibitory activity in preclinical models of pancreatic, endometrial, and breast cancers.
