bscCD19 + CD3 is a **bispecific T-cell engager antibody** construct designed to simultaneously bind **CD19**, an antigen broadly expressed on B cells (including malignant B cells), and **CD3**, a key component of the T cell receptor complex on T cells. The binding recruits and activates T cells to come into close proximity with and kill CD19-expressing B cells. The most well-known representative of this category is blinatumomab, which is structured as an anti-CD19 single-chain variable fragment (scFv) linked via a flexible linker to an anti-CD3 scFv, resulting in a molecule that bridges T cells to B cells. Its main clinical application is for **B-cell malignancies** such as B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) and certain lymphomas. The drug is considered a **bispecific monoclonal antibody** (often called BiTE, "bispecific T-cell engager") and not a CAR-T cell therapy[4].
