**BT002**, also called **OsteoActivator-M**, is a preclinical, locally administered extended-release combination product being developed for bone repair and osteoarthritis-associated subchondral bone remodeling. It uses injectable biodegradable poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) microspheres to provide sustained local delivery of testosterone, intended to enhance osteoblast-mediated bone formation, together with alendronate, intended to inhibit osteoclast-mediated bone resorption.
