Overview

BT01 is a preclinical-stage, first-in-class monoclonal antibody being developed by BioTroy Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors, including gastric cancer and colorectal cancer. It targets semenogelin 2 (SEMG2), acting as an antagonist to modulate novel immuno-oncology mechanisms. BioTroy Therapeutics identified the key receptors and functions of this target, and the therapeutic potency of BT01 has been validated in multiple preclinical models. The drug is designed to interfere with tumor immune evasion by binding to receptors involved in tumor-immune interactions.
