BT02 is a first-in-class monoclonal antibody developed by BioTroy Therapeutics for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It targets Inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate receptor-interacting protein-like 1 (ITPRIPL1), a novel immune checkpoint molecule. By inhibiting ITPRIPL1, BT02 aims to modulate immune responses against cancer cells and overcome resistance in tumors that do not respond to existing PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. The drug has demonstrated promising preclinical efficacy and safety in models of hard-to-treat cancers. Clinical trials are ongoing to evaluate its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, immunogenicity, and preliminary anti-tumor activity in patients with advanced malignant solid neoplasms including colorectal cancer and metastatic melanoma[1][2][5][8].
