Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BTL-203 is a long-acting tri-agonist targeting the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), and glucagon (GCG) receptors. Developed by Bendao Biotechnology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., it is designed for the treatment of metabolic disorders such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). By simultaneously activating these three pathways, BTL-203 aims to provide potent weight loss and glycemic control while also improving lipid metabolism and liver health. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical development, with studies evaluating its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in healthy participants.
