Overview

BTV100 is an investigational ophthalmic drug being developed by BioTheraVision for the treatment of dry eye disease (DED), also known as dry eye syndromes or keratoconjunctivitis sicca. The drug is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials in Australia and Taiwan. The precise mechanism of action for BTV100 has not been disclosed. It is administered via the ophthalmic route and, as of now, has not received regulatory approval in any country.
