Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bu Shen Qu Xie granules (also known as Bushen Quxie granules) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Hubei Provincial Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital and Hubei University of Chinese Medicine. It is designed to treat HBeAg-negative chronic hepatitis B (CHB) by combining the principles of invigorating the kidney ('Bu Shen') and eliminating pathogenic factors ('Qu Xie'). In clinical studies, when administered in combination with the antiviral drug entecavir, Bu Shen Qu Xie granules have been shown to improve liver function, reduce viral replication, alleviate clinical symptoms, and enhance the quality of life of patients with HBeAg-negative CHB compared to entecavir alone.
