Overview

This appears to be a combination therapy that includes two well-documented respiratory medications (budesonide and levosalbutamol hydrochloride) along with spleen aminopeptide, an immunomodulator. Budesonide is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation in the airways. It helps prevent and control asthma symptoms by improving lung function and is often used as a maintenance medication for long-term control of asthma. Levosalbutamol hydrochloride (also known as levalbuterol hydrochloride) is a selective beta2-agonist bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways, opening up air passages and improving breathing. It provides rapid relief of bronchospasm, making it effective for acute asthma symptoms. Spleen aminopeptide is an immunomodulator derived from peptides and nucleotides extracted from fresh pig spleen. It's used in treating cellular immune hypofunction, immunodeficiency, and autoimmune dysfunctional diseases including respiratory conditions. The combination is likely used for conditions such as asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and recurrent respiratory infections. The triple combination works through complementary mechanisms: levosalbutamol hydrochloride stimulates beta-2 adrenergic receptors in the lungs, causing airway muscles to relax and widen; budesonide reduces inflammation by inhibiting multiple inflammatory mediators in the airways; and spleen aminopeptide enhances cellular immunity by inhibiting IL-4 secretion by Th2 cells, improving the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ cells, increasing lymphocyte numbers, and enhancing cellular immune function. This multi-faceted approach provides both immediate symptom relief and addresses underlying immune dysfunction that may contribute to respiratory conditions.
