Overview
Bufei Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed and manufactured by Tianjin Zhongxin Pharmaceutical Group's Daren Tang Pharmaceutical Factory. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other chronic respiratory conditions characterized by lung and kidney qi deficiency. The formulation is a complex mixture of herbal extracts, typically including *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi), *Rehmannia glutinosa* (Shudihuang), *Codonopsis pilosula* (Dangshen), *Schisandra chinensis* (Wuweizi), *Morus alba* (Sangbaipi), and *Aster tataricus* (Ziwan). Pharmacologically, Bufei Granules exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, and immunomodulatory properties, helping to reduce airway inflammation, improve pulmonary ventilation, and enhance the quality of life for patients in the stable phase of COPD. It is administered orally as granules dissolved in warm water.
