It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other chronic respiratory conditions characterized by lung and kidney qi deficiency. The formulation is a complex mixture of herbal extracts, typically including *Astragalus membranaceus* (Huangqi), *Rehmannia glutinosa* (Shudihuang), *Codonopsis pilosula* (Dangshen), *Schisandra chinensis* (Wuweizi), *Morus alba* (Sangbaipi), and *Aster tataricus* (Ziwan). Pharmacologically, Bufei Granules exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative, and immunomodulatory properties, helping to reduce airway inflammation, improve pulmonary ventilation, and enhance the quality of life for patients in the stable phase of COPD.
