Overview

Bufei Yishen granule is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula specifically designed for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), particularly in patients with lung-kidney qi deficiency syndrome. It consists of twelve Chinese medicinal herbs and has been patented (ZL.201110117578.1). Clinical studies have shown that it can reduce acute exacerbations of COPD, improve pulmonary function, enhance exercise capacity, and improve quality of life in COPD patients. Its mechanism of action includes restoring Th17/Treg balance, regulating inflammatory cytokines, and possibly working through activation of the Adenosine 2a Receptor.
