Bufexamac + suplatast tosilate is a combination of two small molecule drugs, each with distinct mechanisms and indications. Bufexamac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the arylbutanoic acid class, primarily used topically for its anti-inflammatory effects in dermatological conditions. Suplatast tosilate is an oral immunomodulator and antiallergic agent that inhibits Th2 cytokine production, suppresses IgE synthesis, and reduces eosinophilic inflammation. Suplatast tosilate acts by modulating the Th1/Th2 immune balance and has demonstrated efficacy in allergic diseases such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, and atopic dermatitis[1][6][8][10].
