Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bujing Yishi Pian (BJYS tablets) is a Chinese patent medicine derived from the classic prescription Zhujing Wan, traditionally used to nourish the liver and kidney, improve vision, and boost essence. Modern pharmacological studies indicate that it possesses antioxidant, vasodilator, anti-inflammatory, and immune-regulating properties. It is believed to inhibit retinal photoreceptor cell apoptosis and promote retinal repair. It is indicated for various ophthalmic conditions, including blurred vision, optic nerve retinal dysfunction, ametropia, xerophthalmia, asthenopia, foreign body sensation, photophobia, diabetic dry eyes, high myopia, and glaucoma with controlled intraocular pressure.
