Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bushen Antai Wan (Kidney Nourishing Fetal Pill) is a specialized Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in-hospital preparation developed by The First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. Based on the clinical expertise of the Han's Obstetrics and Gynecology school, the formula is primarily indicated for the treatment of kidney deficiency-type threatened abortion, recurrent miscarriage, and infertility. In the context of endometriosis, it is frequently employed to manage reproductive complications by improving endometrial receptivity and supporting the luteal phase. The pill is thought to work by regulating the hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian axis, modulating the immune environment at the maternal-fetal interface (such as Th1/Th2 balance), and enhancing the expression of progesterone and estrogen receptors. It is a complex herbal combination typically containing ingredients such as *Rehmannia glutinosa*, *Cuscuta chinensis*, and *Dipsacus asper*.
