Overview
Bushen Huoxue Formula granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal preparation developed by Wangjing Hospital of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is formulated based on the TCM principles of tonifying the kidney and activating blood circulation (Bushen Huoxue) to address the 'kidney deficiency and blood stasis' syndrome often observed in patients following spinal surgery. The formula is primarily investigated for its ability to enhance bone graft fusion and improve clinical recovery outcomes in adults undergoing posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) for conditions such as lumbar spinal stenosis and lumbar disc herniation.
