Bushen Jianpi Huoxue decoction

Bushen Jianpi Huoxue decoction is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formula used primarily for conditions associated with Yin deficiency of the liver, kidney, and spleen. It has demonstrated potential immunomodulating and antineoplastic effects. Preclinical and clinical studies suggest that it can improve bone mineral density (BMD), lower fasting blood glucose levels, reduce insulin resistance, and modulate bone metabolism in diabetic osteoporosis. Mechanistically, its therapeutic effects are attributed to activation of the Wnt signaling pathway and inhibition of the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway[1][3][4][5]. The formula is also studied for its role in improving cognitive impairment in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes[7].
