Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Bushen Yutai Decoction is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed and utilized by Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically formulated to support women undergoing in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET), particularly those identified with poor ovarian response (POR). The decoction is based on the TCM therapeutic principle of tonifying the kidney and consolidating the fetus to improve reproductive outcomes. Clinically, it is used to enhance ovarian reactivity to stimulation, improve endometrial receptivity for embryo implantation, and alleviate symptoms associated with kidney deficiency. It is often administered in combination with assisted reproductive technologies (ART) such as antagonist protocols to optimize clinical pregnancy rates.
