BVAC-M is a preclinical-stage therapeutic cancer vaccine being developed by Cellid for the treatment of melanoma. It is built on the company's proprietary CeliVax platform, which utilizes autologous B cells and monocytes as antigen-presenting cells. The vaccine is engineered to target two specific tumor-associated antigens: GP100 (Melanocyte protein PMEL) and MAGE-A3 (Melanoma-associated antigen 3). By presenting these antigens, BVAC-M aims to stimulate a robust T-cell and Natural Killer (NK) cell immune response against melanoma cells.
