Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BW-1010** is an investigational intranasal anthrax vaccine developed by BlueWillow Biologics and Porton Biopharma. It combines recombinant *Bacillus anthracis* protective antigen with BlueWillow's W805EC/NE01 oil-in-water nanoemulsion adjuvant platform. Intranasal administration is intended to elicit both systemic neutralizing antibody responses and mucosal immunity, including nasal IgA and IgG responses, to protect against anthrax toxin-mediated disease following exposure to *Bacillus anthracis*. BW-1010 completed a Phase 1 study in healthy adults evaluating safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity.
