Overview

**BW-1014** is an investigational intranasal, nanoemulsion-adjuvanted recombinant influenza A H5 hemagglutinin vaccine being developed by BlueWillow Biologics for pandemic influenza preparedness. The product contains recombinant H5 hemagglutinin antigen formulated with a 20% W805EC nanoemulsion adjuvant, intended to stimulate mucosal and systemic immune responses against influenza A H5 viruses, including H5N1. In the completed randomized Phase 1 study NCT05397119, healthy adults received two intranasal doses of BW-1014 at 25 µg, 50 µg, or 100 µg recombinant H5 antigen; a licensed intramuscular H5N1 inactivated influenza vaccine was administered six months later as a separate booster intervention, not as a component of BW-1014.
