Overview

BWC2094 is a small molecule dual antagonist of the adenosine A2A and A2B receptors (A2AR/A2BR) currently in preclinical development by Bugworks Research. Described as a "triple effector" agent, it is designed to target the adenosine axis within the tumor microenvironment to overcome immunosuppression. By blocking both A2AR and A2BR, BWC2094 aims to enhance the activity of T-cells and NK-cells while potentially exerting direct effects on tumor growth and metastasis. The program is focused on treating various solid tumors, including colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, triple-negative breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer.
