BWC6135 (also known as BWC6151) is a preclinical-stage small molecule selective inhibitor of poly [ADP-ribose] polymerase 1 (PARP1) being developed by Bugworks Research. It is designed to target DNA damage repair (DDR) vulnerabilities across BRCA-mutant, homologous recombination deficiency (HRD)-positive, and replication-stress driven tumors. The selective PARP1 targeting approach is intended to provide a wider therapeutic window and support differentiation from earlier, less selective PARP inhibitors. Bugworks Research is exploring BWC6135 for the treatment of ovarian, breast, prostate, pancreatic, and gastrointestinal cancers, both as a monotherapy and in combination with other DDR agents, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or immunotherapy.
