Overview

BWC6305 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor developed by Bugworks Research. It is designed to target multiple nodes in the PI3K and DNA damage response (DDR) pathways, specifically inhibiting PIK3CA, ATM, and DNA-PK. By targeting these pathways, BWC6305 aims to overcome resistance mechanisms in PIK3CA-mutant, DDR-deficient, and radio- or chemotherapy-resistant solid tumors. The therapeutic candidate is being evaluated for the potential treatment of various cancers, including breast, ovarian, endometrial, prostate, lung, head and neck, and gastrointestinal cancers, both as a monotherapy and in combination with radiotherapy, chemotherapy, PARP inhibitors, or immuno-oncology agents.
