Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BWM-03 is an investigational small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic developed by Chengdu Xinzhenghe Pharmaceutical Technology, a subsidiary or partner of Argo Biopharma. Currently in the preclinical stage, BWM-03 is designed to treat rare genetic muscle diseases. The drug utilizes RNA interference (RNAi) technology to specifically target and silence the expression of a gene involved in the pathogenesis of muscle disorders. By degrading the target messenger RNA (mRNA), BWM-03 aims to prevent the translation of proteins that drive disease progression in affected muscle tissues.
