Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**BX002-A** is an orally administered, investigational bacteriophage cocktail developed by BiomX to selectively target *Klebsiella pneumoniae* in the gastrointestinal tract. It was evaluated in a randomized, single-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 1 study in healthy adults to assess safety, tolerability, and delivery of viable phages to stool; the broader development rationale was treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and primary sclerosing cholangitis associated with pro-inflammatory intestinal *K. pneumoniae*.
