BX011

**BX011** is a next-generation fixed multi-phage cocktail developed by BiomX Inc. for treating **Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus)**-associated diabetic foot infections (DFI), a serious complication of diabetes that often leads to amputation. It incorporates multiple proprietary bacteriophages, including those previously evaluated in BiomX's Phase 2 trial of BX211 for diabetic foot osteomyelitis (DFO), to provide broad and potent coverage against pathogenic S. aureus strains. The therapy leverages BiomX's BOLT platform to target and destroy harmful bacteria selectively. Following positive FDA feedback confirming a clear clinical pathway with no additional non-clinical studies required and guidance toward a potential Biologics License Application, BiomX plans a Phase 2a trial in DFI, subject to financial resources. Development has received approximately $40 million in non-dilutive funding from the U.S. Defense Health Agency (DHA) and Department of Navy.[1][2][5][9]
