Overview

BX3000 is a proprietary chemical reversal agent developed by Baudax Bio for the rapid reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by the neuromuscular blocking agents BX1000 and BX2000. It is designed to induce chemical cleavage of these specific agents, resulting in their rapid inactivation and thus quickly reversing neuromuscular paralysis. The use of BX3000 in combination with its paired NMBAs (neuromuscular blocking agents) aims to provide precise control over the onset and offset of muscle relaxation during surgical procedures, potentially reducing recovery times and associated healthcare costs. All three compounds—BX1000, BX2000, and BX3000—were licensed from Cornell University[1][2][4][5][6].
