Overview

**BXT-110** is an autologous induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived neuronal cell therapy developed by BrainXell Therapeutics for Parkinson's disease. It consists of midbrain dopaminergic progenitor cells (mDAPs) generated from patient-derived iPSCs, designed to replace lost dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra, restoring dopamine production to improve motor control, mood, and cognitive functions. Preclinical data show >75% FOXA2+/OTX2+ expression, >60% TH+ neurons in vitro, significant graft survival (>60%) and functional recovery in 6-OHDA rodent models as early as 12 weeks post-transplantation, sustained up to 6 months, supporting its potential as a disease-modifying regenerative therapy.[1][2][4][7][10]
