Drug intelligence / Profile preview
BYN-002 (also known as TL-001) is a next-generation, half-life extended (HLE) monoclonal antibody designed to target Tumor Necrosis Factor-like Ligand 1A (TL1A). Developed by Bionyra Pharma and licensed from TrueLab Biopharmaceutical, BYN-002 is being investigated for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and other immune-mediated inflammatory diseases where TL1A plays a central role in driving inflammation and fibrosis. By inhibiting TL1A, the drug aims to modulate the immune response and provide a therapeutic benefit in conditions like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. As of mid-2026, BYN-002 is in Phase 1 clinical development, with a study in healthy subjects reported as fully enrolled.
