Overview

BZE 2209 is an **autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy** engineered to express both a **PD1 nanoantibody** and a **CTLA-4 antibody**, with specificity for **mesothelin**. The intention is to harness anti-tumor immune responses via checkpoint inhibition (PD1 and CTLA-4 blockade) in combination with targeted CAR T cytotoxicity toward mesothelin-expressing tumor cells. It is under development by Shanghai Cell Therapy Group as an investigational immunotherapy for solid tumors.
