Drug intelligence / Profile preview
C-1101 is Consano Bio's investigational, platelet-derived multi-protein biologic for chronic painful lumbosacral radiculopathy, also known as chronic sciatica. It is a purified solution derived from human platelets in plasma collected from healthy donors and contains cytokines, growth factors, and matrix proteins. Administered locally by transforaminal epidural injection, C-1101 is intended to modulate inflammation and promote cellular proliferation, tissue repair, and neuronal recovery at the site of nerve injury. It is being evaluated in a randomized, blinded Phase 1 dose-escalation study and has received FDA Fast Track designation for chronic painful lumbosacral radiculopathy.
