C-13-60 is a chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA, also known as CEACAM5), which is overexpressed in various advanced malignant solid tumors. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes and binds to CEA on tumor cells, enabling the immune system to attack and destroy these cancerous cells. Clinical trials are ongoing for its use in treating CEA-positive advanced solid tumors, including lung cancer and peritoneal carcinomatosis from colorectal cancer. The drug is being evaluated primarily via intraperitoneal administration as well as other routes[1][2].
