Drug intelligence / Profile preview
C-Sept PRO is a professional-grade cutaneous antiseptic solution developed by Cana Laboratories, a subsidiary of Cosmos Health. It is formulated as a combination of 2% w/v chlorhexidine digluconate and 76% v/v isopropyl alcohol. The solution is designed for fast-acting, broad-spectrum antimicrobial antisepsis of clean hands and intact skin, offering rapid initial action from the alcohol component and prolonged antimicrobial activity from chlorhexidine. In clinical and hospital settings, C-Sept PRO is indicated for surgical and daily hand disinfection, pre-operative skin preparation, skin preparation prior to injections and venipunctures, and local skin disinfection before central or peripheral vascular catheterization.
