C010DS-Zn is a degradable ligand-modified biopolymer-based zinc (II) complex being developed by IP Holdings in collaboration with Duke-NUS and Xylonix. It acts as a PARP1 agonist and a novel immunotherapy designed to normalize macrophage immunity by targeting immunosuppressive M2-like macrophages. In oncology, the compound induces parthanatos, a form of programmed cell death, through the hyperactivation of PARP1. Beyond cancer, C010DS-Zn is being investigated for its potential to reduce macrophage-mediated inflammation at lower doses, with applications in long COVID complications such as thrombosis, lupus, and heart failure.
