Overview

C21 IT is a truncated diphtheria toxin DT390-based immunotoxin. It is described as an "unrelated IT" and was used as a negative control in studies evaluating the efficacy of other immunotoxins targeting cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). Its mechanism of action involves the cytotoxic effects of diphtheria toxin, which inhibits protein synthesis.
