C29 is a novel pharmacological inhibitor targeting CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptors. It has demonstrated anti-proliferation and anti-survival activity against various cancer cell lines, including those resistant to standard treatments like sunitinib and cisplatin. In preclinical studies, C29 reduced tumor growth, angiogenesis, and inflammation in mouse models of clear cell Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) and Head and Neck Squamous Cell Carcinoma (HNSCC). Its mechanism involves reducing ELR+CXCL/CXCR1/2-dependent proliferation and migration of endothelial cells.
