Overview

**c4G12** is a canine chimeric monoclonal antibody that targets programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). Designed as an immune checkpoint inhibitor, it blocks the interaction between PD-L1 and its receptors (including PD-1 and CD80), thereby restoring T cell function and enhancing antitumor immune responses in dogs. c4G12 has demonstrated safety and some efficacy in clinical trials for advanced canine tumors, notably oral malignant melanoma, osteosarcoma, nasal adenocarcinoma, transitional cell carcinoma, undifferentiated sarcoma, hemangiosarcoma, and B-cell lymphoma. Most studies to date are pilot or small clinical studies.
