Overview

C8C8 is an anti-BMP (Bone Morphogenetic Protein) monoclonal antibody being developed by EsoCap, under an exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with Upadia. It has demonstrated preclinical efficacy in inhibiting the development of Barrett's esophagus. EsoCap plans to combine C8C8 with its proprietary thin-film drug delivery platform to enable prolonged, local application directly to the esophagus, aiming to provide a non-invasive treatment for this pre-cancerous condition.
