Overview

CA-327 is an orally administered small molecule immune checkpoint antagonist targeting programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) and T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain containing protein 3 (TIM-3). It is being developed as a novel anti-cancer therapy to generate effective anti-tumor immune responses by disabling the tumor's ability to block immune cell activation. The drug works by inhibiting both the HAVCR2 protein (TIM-3) and programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1), thereby promoting T-cell activation and enhancing anti-tumor immunity. CA-327 is currently in preclinical development for cancer indications. The program originated from Aurigene Discovery Technologies, with further development under a collaboration between Aurigene Oncology and Curis[2][4][5][6].
