Overview

CA103T is an investigational oncolytic gene therapy being developed by Curigin for the treatment of advanced prostate cancer, specifically stage 4 prostate cancer. It consists of a genetically engineered oncolytic adenovirus vector designed to deliver a bi-specific short hairpin RNA (shRNA) payload that simultaneously targets and knocks down the expression of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) and androgen receptor (AR) genes. By selectively replicating in cancer cells and silencing these two critical survival and growth pathways, CA103T aims to induce tumor cell death and stimulate an anti-tumor immune response.
