Overview

CA106T (also known as CA106-T) is an investigational oncolytic adenovirus gene therapy being developed by Curigin. It is designed to express a bispecific short hairpin RNA (shRNA) that simultaneously targets and silences the mRNAs of two key oncogenic drivers: c-Myc (MYC) and Bcl-2 (BCL-2). By combining the tumor-selective replication and lytic activity of an oncolytic adenovirus with RNA interference (RNAi) mediated knockdown of MYC and BCL-2, CA106T aims to induce robust apoptosis and inhibit tumor growth. The therapy is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors, specifically ovarian cancer and lung cancer, with routes of administration including intraperitoneal and intravenous injection.
