Overview

CA47303 is an investigational small molecule selective progesterone receptor modulator (SPRM) developed by Millicent Puerto Rico LLC (Millicent Pharma). It is a new chemical entity (NCE) currently in early-stage clinical development for women's health indications, including the treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids, as well as potential use in contraception. In 2022, the drug entered a first-in-human Phase I clinical trial in the United Kingdom, conducted as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single ascending dose study in healthy female volunteers to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics. Millicent Pharma, which specializes in female reproductive health, acquired its core portfolio from Allergan and is advancing CA47303 as a proprietary asset to address unmet needs in gynecological care.
