Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Cabedol** is an oral fixed-dose antimigraine product marketed by Megat in Ecuador for symptomatic treatment of migraine-associated headache. Each coated tablet contains acetaminophen 650 mg, caffeine 50 mg, and dihydroergotamine mesylate 1 mg. Dihydroergotamine provides antimigraine activity principally through serotonin 5-HT1D receptor agonism, while caffeine antagonizes adenosine receptors and may augment the vasoconstrictive effect of dihydroergotamine; acetaminophen provides analgesic activity through a mechanism that is not fully established.
