CAd3 is a single-dose vaccine candidate developed by the Albert B. Sabin Vaccine Institute. It is based on a cAd3 platform and is designed to elicit immune responses against the Marburg virus glycoprotein. The development of this vaccine is supported by multi-million dollar contracts from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA). It is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for the prevention of Marburg virus infection.
