Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Cadiflu Tetra** is a Cadila Pharmaceuticals quadrivalent seasonal influenza vaccine approved by the Drug Controller General of India for active immunization against influenza in adults and children. It uses virus-like particle technology comprising hemagglutinin, neuraminidase, and matrix protein 1 from four influenza A and influenza B strains. The nonreplicating particles mimic viral external structure without intact viral genetic material, inducing protective immune responses intended to reduce influenza illness, severity, and transmission. It is administered by intramuscular injection. ([cadilapharma.com](https://cadilapharma.com/media/press-releases/cadila-pharmaceuticals-introduces-innovative-quadrivalent-influenza-vaccine))
