Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cadonilimab + axitinib is a combination therapy consisting of cadonilimab (AK104), a bispecific antibody targeting both PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints, and axitinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor that targets VEGFR. Cadonilimab was designed to achieve preferential binding to tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes rather than normal peripheral tissue lymphocytes. This combination therapy targets both immune checkpoint inhibition and angiogenesis pathways simultaneously.
