Overview

This is a combination regimen consisting of three agents: cadonilimab, fruquintinib, and paclitaxel-albumin. Cadonilimab is a bispecific monoclonal antibody targeting both PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints, designed to enhance antitumor immune responses. Fruquintinib is an oral small molecule inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor receptors 1, 2, and 3 (VEGFR1/2/3), which blocks angiogenesis in tumors. Paclitaxel-albumin (nab-paclitaxel) is a nanoparticle formulation of the chemotherapy agent paclitaxel bound to human serum albumin; it disrupts microtubule function during cell division, leading to cancer cell death. This combination aims to leverage immunotherapy with antiangiogenic therapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy for synergistic antitumor effects.
