Cadonilimab + albumin-bound paclitaxel + carboplatin is a combination regimen used in oncology clinical trials, primarily for the treatment of advanced or metastatic cancers such as cervical cancer and gastric/gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) adenocarcinoma. Cadonilimab is a first-in-class bispecific monoclonal antibody that targets both PD-1 and CTLA-4 immune checkpoints, enhancing antitumor immunity by blocking inhibitory signals on T cells. Albumin-bound paclitaxel (nab-paclitaxel) is a microtubule inhibitor that disrupts cell division, while carboplatin is a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent causing DNA crosslinking and apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells. This combination leverages immunotherapy with cytotoxic chemotherapy to improve response rates in patients with difficult-to-treat malignancies[2][4]. Cadonilimab was developed by Akeso and has been approved for certain indications in China; its use with chemotherapy regimens like albumin-bound paclitaxel plus carboplatin remains under investigation in multiple phase II/III trials[1][2][4].
