Calamina Lainco is a topical protective lotion developed and marketed by the Spanish pharmaceutical company LAINCO. It is formulated with calamine and dexpanthenol (pro-vitamin B5) to soothe, protect, and hydrate sensitive, irritated, or reddened skin. Calamine provides astringent, drying, and antipruritic (anti-itch) properties, making it useful for mild skin irritations, sunburns, insect bites, excessive sweating, and diaper rash in infants. Dexpanthenol acts as a humectant and skin conditioner, promoting skin regeneration and maintaining hydration. Calamina Lainco is registered as a cosmetic product in Spain and is available over-the-counter (OTC) as a topical lotion.
