Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Kindical is a fixed-dose combination of calcium carbonate (derived from coral sources) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), developed and marketed by Navana Pharmaceuticals. It is primarily indicated for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, tetany, hypoparathyroidism, and other bone mineralization disorders, as well as for calcium and vitamin D deficiency. Calcium carbonate provides essential elemental calcium required for bone formation and maintenance, while vitamin D3 enhances the intestinal absorption of calcium and regulates calcium homeostasis. The coral-derived calcium carbonate in Kindical is highly bioavailable and shares a chemical structure similar to human bone, ensuring optimal absorption and efficacy.
